Privacy policy
Effective from October 11, 2026. This policy explains how Rein iN handles your information.
Information we process
Registration data (email and user identifier), profile, financial accounts you create, transactions, categories, dates, amounts and preferences. With your permission, we may also process approximate location associated with a transaction, audio for voice commands, receipt images and card statement files.
How we use it
To authenticate you, synchronize your data, calculate balances and reports, interpret commands, read receipts or statements you choose to send, maintain security and respond to support requests.
Providers
We use Supabase for authentication, the database and server functions. Voice and analysis features may send audio, images or necessary excerpts to OpenAI. We do not embed private keys in the application. Each provider processes information under its own security measures and terms of service.
Device permissions
Microphone, camera, location and biometrics are optional and requested only when you use the corresponding feature. Biometrics are validated by the operating system; Rein iN does not receive or store your biometric characteristics.
Retention and security
We retain information while your account is active or as necessary to provide the service and meet applicable obligations. We apply authentication, secure session storage and user isolation through Row Level Security.
Your controls
You can correct information in the app and permanently delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes credentials, profile and financial data from the server, as well as the local copy on your device.
Contextual shopping assistant
The shopping assistant checks your position only when you authorize the location button. We send coordinates and category to Google Maps to find places and routes; we do not store a history of those positions. Queries requiring it are processed with OpenAI without coordinates or payment methods. The conversation is retained in memory during the session and discarded when you leave the screen or sign out. In Supabase we store only declarations of bank, network, card type, wallet or program; we do not request PAN, CVV or banking credentials. You can delete these declarations in the assistant, and they are also removed when you delete your account. Providers may process requests under their own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
Public website measurements
From October 11, 2026, we measure App Store link openings and public page performance to improve content and speed. Our own events include only the page or link source, language and performance values; they do not include email, account identifiers, financial data or command text. We do not use advertising cookies or persistent identifiers for these measurements. Vercel hosts the website and retains technical request logs under its terms and retention periods; those logs may include IP addresses and request metadata. Openings are not downloads or unique users.
