Rein iN guides
How to record expenses by voice on iPhone
Small expenses matter when you want to understand your month. Rein iN lets you record income and expenses by voice on iPhone, without waiting to sort receipts at the end of the day. Your phrase describes a transaction that already happened; the app organizes that information in your account.
1. Choose where to record
Open Rein iN and select Personal or your business before speaking. Check that the account used for payment exists and that its currency matches the expense. Choosing the right space helps keep personal and business finances separate.
2. Say one clear sentence
Tap Speak and describe one transaction: what you paid for, how much, which currency and which account. Say if it happened yesterday. Use your account’s name to distinguish cash, bank or card; a merchant name does not necessarily identify the payment account.
3. Review and check your records
Check amount, account, date and category before confirming the result shown in the app. Correct anything misinterpreted and avoid recording the same expense twice. Once synced, sign in with the same account on the web to review and filter your transactions.
A practical example
Example: “Yesterday I spent 8,500 Argentine pesos at the supermarket, from my Cash account.” Check that the result is an ARS 8,500 expense dated yesterday and linked to Cash. This is an illustration; reading the guide does not create a transaction.
